AdSense and Google Analytics are partners in crime

AdSense reports may give you your site’s performance data but if you want to reveal what’s actually going on beneath the surface, consider linking your Google Analytics account with your AdSense account. The information you can get is a lot more granular which will pave the way to better optimization.
You can do it in 10 easy steps:

1. Sign in to your analytics account
2. Click on Admin
3. Under the ‘Account’ column, choose the analytics account that contains the property you’d like to link with AdSense
4. Under ‘Property’, choose the analytics property you’d like to link, and click ‘AdSense Linking’
5. Click + New AdSense Link
6. Select the AdSense property that you want to link with your Analytics property
7. Click ‘Continue’
8. Select the Analytics views in which you prefer the AdSense data to be available
9. Click ‘Enable Link’
10. Click ‘Done’
